Welcome to my portfolio. Here you will find some of the projects I have worked on over the years.
I am Lucas Cherini, a Master Builder and an advanced Mechanical Engineering student.
Previously, I worked in construction as a Master Builder, where I provided consulting, project management, supervision, and construction of residential works, as well as electrical, plumbing, and gas installations.
Additionally, I worked in the manufacturing industry as a Methods and Time Analyst. There, I was responsible for the development, control, and optimization of the manufacturing processes for the Alcatel ONE TOUCH production lines, and I also assisted with the Motorola, Noblex, Lenovo, and Sony lines.
During my studies, I worked at the Aerospace Technology Center in the piping area, where, alongside VENG and CONAE, we developed the new rocket engine test stand for the Tronador II project.
Currently, I am working at Solaer Ingenieria as a Computational Structural Engineer, where I designed and validated advanced FEM models for mechanical structures, optimizing performance and reducing material costs. I also conducted detailed structural analysis in compliance with ASME, API, CIRSOC standards, ensuring regulatory approval and operational safety, and I created engineering reports and technical documentation for design validation and project certification.
I have extensive experience in design and simulation with Abaqus, Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MatLab, C, Python, and Arduino.
Below, I share some of my completed projects.
Over the years, I have attended a wide variety of courses, as continuous training is essential to staying up-to-date with new technologies, and I genuinely enjoy learning. Although not all courses are directly related to my specialization, I believe it is important to have a general knowledge base, as it helps me approach problems from different perspectives.
These are the most relevant training programs I have completed:
